Mathieu Turcotte, 25, of Montreal knows what teamwork is all about. In his four years with the national team, Turcotte has won three gold medals as member of world team championship squad in 1998, 2000 and 2001. He also won a relay silver medal at the 2001 world championships while becoming a regular on the podium of World Cup events.
Turcotte makes his competitive Olympic debut in 2002. In Nagano, he was a relay alternate but did not get the chance to skate. He'll compete in four events in Salt Lake City: 500 metres; 1,000 metres, 1,500 metres and the 5,000-metre relay.
