The 22-year old native of Falmouth, Nova Scotia will compete in the halfpipe event, replacing the injured Guillaume Morisset, who hurt his right knee in a training accident on Thursday, February 7th. The five-foot-eight and 135 pound snowboarder is known for his signature McTwist move, has two career World Cup victories both at Mont-Ste-Anne, Que., in 1997 and 2000. He placed 29th in halfpipe at the 1998 Olympics. He was Nova Scotia's male athlete of the year in 1998. His is currently ranked No. 20 in the World Cup halfpipe standings. When he's not carving up the mountain, Andrew is an avid hip-hop DJ and rapper.
