Geraldine Heaney, 34, is the only player to have played in all seven world women's hockey championships (1990, 1992, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001). Heaney, a defenceman from Toronto, was named the top blueliner in the 1992 and 1994 worlds.

Heaney, who has played with the Beatrice Aeros since their inception 18 years ago, also won a gold medal at 1992 world roller hockey championships and a silver medal in 1994.
