Danielle Goyette, 36, is Canada's most experienced offensive weapon. The forward from St-Nazaire, Que., has played in six world championships (1992, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001), winning a gold medal each time.
At last year's world championships, Goyette was Canada's top goalscorer and led the tournament with two game-winning goals. In 30 career world championship games, Goyette has scored 27 goals and added 19 assists.
She also won a silver medal at the Nagano Olympics, where she was the leading goal scorer in the tournament and second-leading scorer.
