Athlete Profile

Donald Farley, 30, of Lorraine, Que., is the veteran of Canada's cross-country Olympic contingent, and the only male member of the team. An 11-year senior national team veteran, Farley has 19 Canadian championship gold medals on his resume.

Like many of his teammates, Farley became ill at the 1998 Nagano Games and failed to live up to his personal expectations. He'll compete in three events this time around: the 15-kilometre classical; 30-kilometre freestyle and 50-kilometre classical.
