1. Veteran: Lawrence Browning Rogers

Artifacts: A teddy bear given by his daughter, Aileen, was found on the body of Mr. Rogers after he was killed at Passchendaele on Oct. 30., 1917. A letter sent by his son, Howard, never reached Mr. Rogers and was returned to the family after his death.

2. Veteran: Edwin Pye

Artifacts: A wartime scrapbook, which contains newsletters and photographs from both the front lines and the home front. Mr. Pye was born in 1893 in Westerham, Kent. He immigrated to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1911 and became a Canadian citizen. He joined the 5th Battalion Western Cavalry and saw several years service in France before being wounded and discharged.

3. Veteran: James Arthur Jones

Artifacts: Two diary entries from Private Jones and his wife, Mrs. Fanny Jane Jones.

4. Veteran: Jay Moyer

Artifacts: Three pages of a letter sent by Mr. Moyer from Vimy Ridge. Parts of the letter were cut out by censors.

5. Veteran: Hector Fraser Dougal

Artifacts: Photograph of the PoW camp of Holzminden where Mr. Dougal was held until the end of the war. He escaped three times but was recaptured. He took the flag flying in the background of the photograph when news of the Armistice reached the camp.

6. Veteran: Gordon Hendery

Artifact: A scrapbook of memorabilia from Mr. Hendery's time in the service. One page has pressed maple leaves, photographs of his mother and father, and a note that says:

Gordon Hendery.
With our love and best wishes M.C.H. and J.S.H.

7. Veteran: Clara White

Artifact: Diary of nurse Clara White traces her voyage from Toronto to England, France and finally Salonika, Greece. The diary mentions treating patients in France for measles, meningitis, and paratyphoid.

8. Veteran: John Ernest McLurg

Artifacts: A book that contains drawings and photographs of prisoners and captors at the Heidelberg PoW facility where he was held prisoner.

9. Veteran: J.E.J. Fox

Artifact: A photograph of the Newfoundland British Expeditionary Force in front of the Sphinx dated some time in 1915.

10. Veteran: Walter Pete Flett

Artifact: Mr. Flett sent the letter after the Freiburg air raid on April 14, 1917.
