The award-winning actress has died after a ski accident in Quebec.

MONT-TREMBLANT, QUE. — Surrounded by family in a New York hospital, Tony award winning actress Natasha Richardson died Wednesday after suffering a head injury in a fall on a Quebec ski hill this week.

Spokesman Alan Nierob confirmed the death Wednesday after two days of speculation about Ms. Richardson's condition, saying her husband, actor Liam Neeson, and family are “shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha.
