Scott Conley from Bowmanville, Canada writes: If you add up all the nominated film's worldwide ticket sales is close to $414 million (Curious: $197, Milk: $33, Reader $26, Slum: $137, Frost:$21) and compare it to Dark Knight (Almost 1 billion dollars), it's quite obvious that the "Academy" is completely out of touch with the actual people who go to the theatre.

Your glib 'moral' insights are, frankly, tedious and unnecessary, not to mention boring. Sigh. Maybe try again? I actually enjoy your reviews when you're not trying to be too witty or trying to dazzle us readers.
