  1. Alan Lukachko from Rockwood, ON, Canada writes: I'm happy you pointed these out. When I first saw the fees charged for these plans, my immediate reaction was another gift from the government to the banks.

    But on closer inspection and your research, it looks like this will be a good deal, particularly if you keep the funds and income earned in the account for the long term.
