  1. wally sarty from Canada writes: i have colorectal cancer which is reoccuring in my lungs. i show no signs of it's progression yet i suspect my oncology doc will suggest more chemo at some point in the future.. according to the globe article chemo might be totally useless at this point until they can find a way to attack my particular cancer stem cells with it's cd 133 protein marker. this latest discovery has me the most optimistic i have ever been. to imagine that they can indentify the very cells that cause my cancer to grow is ,well, an unbelievable feeling.i have been in this battle for 5 years after being told i had 16 months.this battle has been nothing short of hell but i'm STILL here. this bit of news has been my xmas present.thanks for your cooment,wally in N.S.
