T.K. (Sandy) Warley died peacefully in Guelph on September 10, 2018. He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Anita Inge Gisela Warley (nee Kloetzke); his son, Stephan Carl Warley and wife, Krista Rahn; his daughter, Linda Ann Warley and husband, Alan Filewod; his grandchildren, Graham Warley and Ian Warley and wife, Kalouda Saginidou and their two children, Ethan and Liam.
A former professor in the Ontario Agricultural College, Sandy was also an active member of the University of Guelph Alumni Association, the MS Society, the Guelph Wellington Men's Club, and the Enabling Garden. He truly lived a life of the mind, reading, debating, and writing until the end. Together with his wife Anita he also made beautiful gardens.
Sandy lived with MS for forty years, and did so with dignity and fortitude. It was an infection that carried him off, but he died without pain and with family close by.
