At 92, with her tennis racquet in hand, her skis on her shoulder, and a French book in her handbag, Ethel has left us. She was an extraordinary person and lived an extraordinary life. She enjoyed and lived fully each and every day. She was independent, curious, open-minded, and determined. While a private person, she was sincerely interested in her many friends and she was enriched by their affection. She had a warm and loving relationship with all her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry; and her brothers, Hy and Joe Feldman. She leaves behind her sister and brother, Goldie and Phil Feldman; her sons, Stephen, Cliff, and Eric; her daughters-in-law, Wendy and Ket; her grandchildren, Noah (Heather), Luke (Alex), Rebecca (Dan), Ben (Adi), Ethan, Natasha (Skye), Evan, Darren, and Griffin; and her great-grandchildren, Jonah, Frances, Adam, and Ellie. She had no regrets. There will be a private funeral. Shiva will be Sunday afternoon only, from 2 p.m., at 43 Deepwood Crescent, Don Mills.
