January 3, 2014, at home, in good health. Nee Sidney Osborne Scott, Winnipeg, September 27, 1921. Married architect Charles Craig in 1943, producing three children. With second husband, Douglas Shadbolt, also an architect, lived in Montreal, Halifax, Ottawa and Vancouver. Inspired gardener and designer, friend to art and artists, notable host. Predeceased by her eldest son, David, in 1972, and by her daughter, Kate, in 2002. Survived by son, Jamie Craig, son-in-law, Hank Bull, grandsons, Amos and David Craig. In lieu of a funeral, a gathering will be held in Sidney's honor in Vancouver in March.
