Special thanks to the staff of Briton House Retirement Centre (Toronto) for their wonderful transitional and compassionate care. A dignified gentleman and consummate professional, the man behind the public mask was a 'big kid at heart'. Fun loving, adventurous, fiercely competitive, passionately opinionated, with an amazing sense of humour that he never lost. He saved his 'true self' for his family and we celebrate this gift. In keeping with his lifelong love for the Port Severn area, friends and colleagues are invited to make donations in Bill's memory to the Trumpeter Swan Program, c/o The Friends of Wye Marsh, P.O.Box 100, Midland, ON L4R 4K6; or alternatively, The Alzheimers Society of Canada, 20 Eglinton Avenue West, 16th Floor, Toronto, ON M4R 1K8 (or online).
