CARNEGIE, Marjorie Elizabeth

Passed away peacefully at home on
February 20, 2013. She was the beloved mother of Martin and Sarah (Curtosi). She was predeceased by her husband, Ian. Marjorie was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. She was born in London, England and lived there with her family during WWII. She immigrated to Canada in 1957 where she met her beloved husband. Marjorie had served as secretary at PSBGM and Mackay Centre. She was also a long-time volunteer of the Chancel Guild and served as President of Meals-on-Wheels for ten years at St Matthias. She had a great love for learning and conversation and a deep appreciation of art. Her inner strength and devoted spirit will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
  A funeral will be held on Tuesday,
February 26, at 11 am at St. Matthias' Church, 131 Cote-St- Antoine Rd, Westmount.
