UY, Alfredo 'Fred' Santero

passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Imelda for 54 years, loving father of 7, Ferdinand (Jean), Melissa (Dennis), Melinda, Frederick (Gillian), Marguerite, Francisco and Majella (Jose Martin), and 15 grandchildren Daniel, David, Meagan, Marie, Margaret, Mariel, Dominic, Miranda, Madison, Samantha, Katherine, Rowen, Grace, Benjamin and Gabrielle. Also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews. Fred was a simple, kind and generous man who loved music, golf and chocolates. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be on Monday, February 25 from 3-8 pm at HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME 'SCARBOROUGH CHAPEL', 3280 Sheppard Ave. E, 416-773-0933. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 26 at 10 am at ST. MICHAEL'S CATHEDRAL, 65 Bond Street, Toronto. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Michael's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
