STAPLES, Elizabeth 'Beth' (nee: Oblender)
Peacefully at Kingston on February 15, 2013, with the loving support of sons Andrew (Andrew), James, & Bruce (Ross). In addition to be being missed by her niece Shannon Brown (Albert), she will also be missed by many cousins, friends, and extended family. Loving wife of the late Canon Charles Staples, loving sister of the late Mary Lou Siemonsen, and beloved 'Nana' to Jane, Beth was also a lifelong Anglican and former Dominion Secretary of the AYPA and served the national church during the 1950s and 1960s. Beth was passionate about caring for others in society and was a member of many community organizations, serving on boards in both Kingston and Brockville. If so desired, donations may be made to St. George's Cathedral, the PWRDF, the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Robert J. Reid & Sons, 'The Chapel on the Corner', 309 Johnson Street, Kingston. Funeral service will be held at St. George's Cathedral (Johnson St. & King St.) on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 2pm.
