Garth Edward Johnston
(23 June 1928 - 14 February 2013)
Garth was a beloved father and grandfather and is survived by his daughters, Cathie (Keith) Lylock, Elizabeth Johnston, Sue (Rob) Duncan, and his grandchildren, Maggie, Mac, and Cal. His family, many friends, and acquaintances will fondly remember his smile, laugh, and sense of humour. Garth volunteered throughout his life with various organizations, including his churches, the Victoria Airport Red Coats, and Government House Gardens. A celebration of life service will take place at St. Aidan's United Church on 4 March, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association, or to the Brain Injury Association.
