On Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, in his 88th year, John, beloved husband of Carol Manning; dear father of Sandra, Edward (Cathy Doyle), Julie (Paul de Gray), and Guy (Bobbi Reinholdt). Proud grandfather of Neil, John and Mark de Gray; Elizabeth and Stephanie Pollen; and Laura and Sean Pollen. Brother of Peter Pollen of Victoria B. C. Served in Holland with the 48th Highlanders in the spring of 1945. Funeral service on Thursday, February 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St John's York Mills, 19 Don Ridge Drive.
