WALKER McKAY SMITH
Walker Smith passed away at home on Friday, February 8, 2013 at age 75. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his sister, Amelia Mary Farquharson of Toronto and her children, James and Catherine Farquharson. Predeceased by his parents, Jean Gray Smith and E. Russell Smith. He was born in Chatham, attended C. C.I., Upper Canada College in Toronto and Queen's University where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree ('58) and his degree in law ('62). He practiced law in Toronto and later returned to run the family business, Gray's China Hall, living in both Chatham and Erie Beach. Friends are invited to the ALEXANDER & HOULE FUNERAL HOME, 245 Wellington Street West, on Tuesday, February 12th, visiting from 1 to 2 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Mike Maroney of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery.
