Died peacefully at Baycrest Hospital at the end of an active life. Myra emigrated from Scotland arriving in Canada on her 28th birthday to embark on a career in physiotherapy. She was a participant and competitor in tennis, badminton, curling and lawn bowling, and was the recipient of numerous awards, particularly in bridge where she was a Gold Life Master. Myra also was the owner of two bridge clubs, the Prince Arthur Bridge Club and Myra's Bridge Club. She will be remembered by her many friends both inside and outside the bridge world, as well as three cousins in Scotland; Jim Sim, Robin Sim and Jean Hyslop, and their families. With many thanks to the staff at Humber River Memorial Hospital and especially to the caregivers of the palliative care unit of the Baycrest Hospital. Cremation has taken place and an interment service will be held at a later date.
