BREAKWELL, Kenneth Ralph
Retired Peel County Principal ('Bolton', 'Runningbrook' and 'Forest Avenue'), former member Islington Golf Club, 1950's Honest Ed's winning knuckle-ball pitcher, passed away on Feb. 4, 2013. Born in 1933, as a child Ken's first loves were baseball, hockey and racing pigeons in the Mount Dennis area. A friend to all he met, he loved telling jokes, playing golf, creating vacation videos he took with his loving wife Frances (nee Loftus), and writing poetry. Caring dad to Larry (Sheri) and Michelle (1983). Grandsons Derek and Daniel loved the stories he wrote for them at Christmas. Greatly missed by sister Marilyn Ball (late Jack), nieces Arlene (Ian MacIver) and Kathy Cookish. Great-Uncle to Travis, Taylor and Tianna.
