FLEMING, Dr. Joseph Alexander (Joe) DDS December 20, 1929 - February 5, 2013 Joe died peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital in Napanee, following a lengthy illness. Loving husband of 56 years to Brenda (nee Young) of Kingston. Wonderful and dearly loved father of Catherine (Claude) Manseau, Janet (Dave) Suchanek and Linda (David) Little. Devoted grandpa of Jason and Megan Manseau, Emily, Zachary and Hayley Suchanek, Scott and Sarah Little. Joe was a highly respected dentist/prosthodontist in Ottawa for 40 years, graduating from U of T in 1955. He loved the outdoors and was a keen fisherman and hunter all his life and will be sadly missed by his fishing and hunting buddies of 50 years. He had a great sense of humour which followed him to the final days of his life. We are most grateful to Dr. Tom Touzel for his compassionate care and understanding over the past 12 years. We would like to thank the nursing staff of the L & A County General Hospital, for their exceptional kindness and care. Joe will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was blessed with a close family and many friends. In accordance with Dr. Fleming's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service in celebration of his life will take place at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, Kingston, on Saturday, February 9, at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment at Cataraqui Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 noon until time of service, as well as in the James Reid Reception Centre following the service.
