GREEN, Dr. Norman 1920-2013
A Life Well Lived. Peacefully at home in Toronto in the early hours of January 23, 2013. Dr. Green served as Chief of Medicine and Chief of Staff at the Doctor's Hospital for many years. He was loved and respected by patients and staff. Survived by his wife of 70 years Mildred Chernovsky Green, brother and brother-in-law of Ralph and Francine, and 3 sons Laurence and Suzanne, Martin and Nancy, and Ken. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren Jeffrey and Heather, Jonathan, Rachel, Rebecca, and Sharon. Many thanks to his devoted caregivers Stacey and Liliana who cared for him, cared about him and comforted him in his times of need. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin), for service on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Temple Sinai Section of Dawes Road Cemetery. Shiva will be observed privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kensington Hospice, 416-963-9640.
