BOTTOMLEY, Marion Dianah (nee Haldenby)
Passed away peacefully on January 19th at the Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich Ontario in her Ninety-Seventh year while surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Marion is survived by an extensive and loving family - Judith (William) of Bayfield, Kirk of Victoria BC, Janet (James) of Abbotsford BC, Brian of Sauble Beach, Cathy (George) of Ottawa. She was proud of her grandchildren; Gavin, Trevor, Tara, Chauncey, Reade, James, Andrew, Cameron, Andrea, Karen, Eric, Kevin and her many great-grandchildren. Marion was predeceased by her parents Jesse (Kirkup) and Norman Haldenby, her sister Norma Weir and her brother Ronald. She was also predeceased by her husbands Dr. Ward Smith (Toronto), Dr. William Woods (Toronto) and James Bottomley (Vancouver). A visitation will take place on January 27th, 2013 starting at 1 PM until time of service at 2 PM all from York Cemetery & Visitation Centre (160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, 416-221-3404). A celebration for 'a life lived well' will take place in the spring in Bayfield at which time a tree will be planted in Marion's memory. For those who wish to give remembrance donations please consider the following - The Canadian Cancer Society, The Salvation Army and The Alexander Marine and General Hospital Foundation.
