Very peacefully at Teddington Park Residence in Toronto January 19th 2013 Wife to beloved late husband Royal William Irlam and darling mother to daughter Hilary
As a young girl Minnie danced ballet for the Queen Mother during one of her visits to Canada. After studying art and design in Toronto, her professional career led her to work in the graphic design field. Leading a small team she designed and illustrated magazine and newspaper advertising, winning design awards for some of her posters. In retirement, after marriage, she continued to paint for pleasure eventually becoming an art teacher. Min spent many of her best summers on Sturgeon Lake in a cottage she had designed and constructed with her father, brother, friends and family.
Minnie is survived by daughter Hilary Kelley, Stephen Sussman, her brother James Vogan and wife Theresa, nephews Jeffrey and Denis Vogan and their families, along with many close cherished friends who were always considered family
Minnie shared her creative gift with all and her joyful spirit will continue to live through her art. A memorial service will be scheduled later in the year. Online Condolences to www.turnerporter.ca
