ALFRED FRANK (ALF) LING
Passed away peacefully on January 17, 2013 at the Hospice at May Court in Ottawa. He leaves Jean, his wife of 65 years, his daughters Celia (Carl), Sarah (Glen) and his six grandchildren Jordan, David and Curt (Celia) and Rachael, Laura and Owen (Sarah). Alf and Jean both served in World War II and emigrated from England to Canada in January 1949. They spent 12 years in Stratford, then lived in Trenton until moving to Ottawa in 2007. According to Alf's wishes, a tree will be planted in one of his favourite places yet to be decided. We will all miss the twinkle in his eyes and quiet dedication to his family. We love you Dad. Memorial donations in Alf's memory to the Hospice at May Court, 114 Cameron Avenue, Ottawa, ON K1S 0X1, would be appreciated.
