REYNOLDS, Allan Joseph
(May 29, 1947 - January 15, 2013)
Passed away suddenly at home in the company of his wife on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at age 65. Predeceased by his mother Rose. Survived by his wife Joan, his father Warren, brothers Larry and Michael (Dee), sons Andrew (Nicole) and Christopher and grandson Aidan. Allan will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a sociable, warm-hearted man and as a loving father, son and husband. He began his professional career in journalism and became a highly regarded executive in the fields of public relations and pharmaceuticals. Allan also devoted a significant amount of his personal time to volunteer causes, in particular by serving on the board of directors for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Anaphylaxis Canada and by chairing his local residents' association. Visitation will be held at the Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre at 375 Mount Pleasant Rd. on Wednesday, January 23rd from 6-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Bloor Street United Church at 300 Bloor St. W. on Thursday, January 24th at 11 a.m. followed by a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Anaphylaxis Canada.
