Douglas Wayne Billings
On December 28, 2012, suddenly at the age of 57, in Trinidad, where he had been living for 20 years. Predeceased by his partner Suzie Alibocas, his mother Jeannette Billings and his aunt Cheryl Edwards. Doug was a visionary who marched to the beat of his own drum. He designed, built and distributed KISS Energy wind generators, a supplementary power source for sailing craft, which garnered him much appreciation and praise. Doug will be sadly missed by father Dr. Ronald Billings, siblings David Billings and Lorraine Billings and all his many friends in the sailing community. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Although far from home, Doug was never far from our hearts. Always quick to answer a question with ''.....so let me tell you a story about that .....'' And then he did.
