Peacefully and surrounded by family, Lasma Kinstlers, 68, passed away on January 11th, 2013 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Lasma Kinstlers was born on January 30th, 1944 in Jelgava, Latvia. She will be missed by her daughters and sons- in-law; Kristine and Joel Smith and Lara and Owen Morgan. She was a much loved grandmother to Courtney Arthurs, Reese Morgan and Griffyn Morgan. She was a dear sister to Laimdota, Ligita, Jack, Inta and Gita and beloved aunt and great aunt in the Kinstlers family. Lasma will always be remembered for her sharp wit and keen mind. Thank you to the dedicated and caring staff at the Trillium Memorial and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, January 15th at 1 p.m. with visitation Monday, January 14th from 5-8 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, ON M4T 2V8. In Lasma's memory, donations can be made to the Kinstlers family charity Kristus Darz Latvian Foundation, the Glaucoma Research Society in Canada or in recognition of the wonderful care she received, to the Trillium Health Centre Foundation or the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
