Donald Vernon Corbett Staff Sergeant, Royal Artillery 1941 - 1945
Donald Vernon Corbett, born in Toronto August 4, 1923, died peacefully in his sleep in Port Dalhousie after hosting his children for dinner, January 7, 2013, aged 89. Staff Sergeant in the Royal Artillery during World War II, serving with the Army Bureau of Current Affairs. Organist and choirmaster and past member of the American Guild of Organists. Donald is survived by his five children, Haultain, John, Harriet, Rachel and Patrick, who miss him. No flowers please, donations to the Royal National Lifeboat Institute.

Katherine Rosemary Corbett, née Haultain, Born in Stratford, ON, June 5, 1923, died in Kentville NS, on September 20, 2010, aged 87. Weather Specialist in the RCAF during World War II, serving in PEI and overseas in Newfoundland. Talented amateur painter and naturalist. Survived by her children Haultain, John, Harriet, Rachel and Patrick, who miss her. No flowers please, donations to the National Trust
