Hazel Irene Chappell (nee Hinton)
January 2nd 2013, at Fort Erie, in her 89th year, Hazel Chappell joined the love of her life and much-missed Sid in his workshop in the sky. She had just moved into Gilmore Lodge and was settling in nicely, when her soul departed gently and peacefully. Hazel was feisty and smart, always inquisitive and wise. She was sweet and fun, and touched the lives of everyone around her. She will be missed enormously by family and friends including her daughters, Leslie (Stan Wojick), Pam (Dwight Griffin), and Janet (Ken Skoreyko) and her big brother Lloyd. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will occur when the earth is soft again.
