FELICE, Doug
Died suddenly at home, Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the age of 69. Doug is mourned by his wife, Linda Jolley, his children, Craig and Chris Felice and Chris's wife Nakiea, his grandchildren, Kiara and Cruz, his sister Roxanne, and his many, many friends, colleagues, and neighbours. Doug was a life-long champion of workers - as a shop steward, union president, health and safety activist, legislative assistant, workers' compensation appeal tribunal adjudicator. In his commitment to workers' rights and workers' responsibilities, he was dedicated, fair, and compassionate. And he was so much more. He loved cars and he loved to drive. He loved music. He was a political junkie and had an endless curiosity about the world around him. He loved conversation. Doug was predeceased by his parents Harold and Margaret Felice. A Celebration of Doug's life will be held on Saturday, January 5th from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. with a tribute at 6 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug's memory can be made to a charity of your choice, Amnesty International or Doctors Without Borders. Condolences www.rskane.ca R.S. Kane
