Henry passed away after a fight with cancer on December 30th, 2012 with his wife Anne at his side. Born in Québec City of the late Edward Patrick and the late Clara (Bussières), Henry joined the air force in 1940 and after a brilliant career joined the Ministry of Transport until 1975 when he became the President and Chief Executive Officer of Shipbuilding and Ship Repairing Canadian Association from which he retired in 1987. Henry is predeceased by his first wife Sheila (née Fitz-James) and will be missed by their children Nicholas, Teresa (Graz Brescacin), Kathleen (Randy Rauton.) Henry also leaves behind his beloved wife Anne (née Suberbielle) and their children, Aurélie (James Cleveland), Stéphanie (Ian Matthews), and Mélanie as well as all of his wonderful grandchildren (Kami, Teddy, Max, Camille, Sébastien d., Madi, Éloïse, Loïc, Henri, and Julien.) He will also be missed by his brother Edward and family. Henry's command of life, his wit, and his energy will never be forgotten. Friends may pay respects by attending the funeral mass at Resurrection of our Lord Church, 1940 Saunderson Drive, Saturday, January 12th, at 11am to be followed by a reception immediately afterwards. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Perley and Rideau Veteran's Health Centre for their care during his time of residence. In lieu of flowers donations to the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
