After a long life, well lived, and a joyous Christmas with family, Helen passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 30, 2012. Loving wife of the late George D. Pattison and loved mother of Bruce and his wife Harriet and Barbara and her husband John Hepburn; proud grandma to Robert (Gina) and Andrew Pattison, Sarah Hepburn- Smith (Brad Smith), Katie Hepburn (Jay Haddrell) and Lindsey Hepburn; Great Grandma, or GG as she was affectionately called, to Jack and Kaitlyn Pattison, Emily and Brigid Pattison and Noah, Zachary and Cooper Smith and Charlie Haddrell. She will be remembered for her elegant style, strong faith, sense of humour, interest in sports especially hockey, baseball and golf, dedication to family and indomitable spirit. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 3 between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W., 2 lights west of Yonge St. A celebration of Helen's life will take place on Friday, January 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Glenview Presbyterian Church, 1 Glenview Avenue Toronto, south of Lawrence Ave. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to her church home, Glenview Presbyterian Church.
