GRINDAL, Norma Florence (nee Trustrum)
Passed away unexpectedly on Christmas Eve at the age of 86. A force of nature wherever she went - Norma was a formidable activist for the rights of part-time university students, an avid bridge player, a member of the University Women's Club of Toronto and the Women's Institute of Salem. Survived by loving husband of 62 years, Richard; sons Blain (Joanne), David (Geri) and Iain; devoted grandchildren Alexander, Tyler, Andrew, Connor and Sarah; as well as sister Beverly and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Joanne. Visitation at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga (420 Dundas Street East) on Saturday, December 29 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service also at the Scott Funeral Home on Sunday, December 30 at 2 p.m. with reception to follow. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
