ACKER, Paul David
(January 2, 1948 - December 25, 2012)
Passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Ruth Acker and his brother Michael. He is survived by his brothers Peter and John, nieces Ruthie and Sarah, nephew James, sister-in-law Jeannie and many other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by the staff and residents of Pilot Place. Paul is remembered for his stories, his humour, his love of life and most of all his unfailing generosity. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Trauma Neuro ICU at St. Mike's. A service will be held in the chapel of the Morley Bedford Funeral Home 159 Eglinton Ave. West, (2 stoplights west of Yonge Street), Toronto, on Friday December 28th. at 11 a.m. with visiting 1 hour prior to the service. In Paul's memory, donations may be made to the Pilot Place Society (pilotplacesociety.org).
