BROWN, Margaret Jane (nee Beggs)
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Margaret on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, in her 98th year. Margaret lived most of her life, until her last illness, in her own home, enjoying her independence, family and friends. Her unfailing positive and bright approach to life was an inspiration to us all. She is predeceased by her husband Dr. Charles Brown, daughter Patricia, brother Edward and sister Dorothy. She is survived by her brother Bob and will be missed by her large and loving family on both sides of the Atlantic. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter 'Yorke' Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Toronto (at Windermere Ave., east of Jane subway) on Friday, December 21, 2012, for a Service of Remembrance to held in the Chapel at 1 p.m., with visitation beginning at 12 p.m. For those who wish, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Canadian Institute for the Blind, or Toronto Western Hospital Foundation.
