PHILIP DOUGLAS CLARK
Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Golden Plough Lodge in Cobourg, on Friday, December 14th, 2012, Phil Clark at 95 years of age. Cherished husband of Betty Clark (nee Wood). Dear father of Cathy Clark (Dale Churchward) and David Clark (Mary Liz). Loving grandfather of Patrick and Emlyn. Survived by his sisters Bess and Jean and predeceased by his siblings Esther, Bertha, Pauline, Dorothy, James, Edward, Virginia, Benton, Bill, and Dan. Predeceased by his parents James and Emily Clark and his mother and father-in-law Winnifred and Russell J. Wood. A private family Memorial Service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home in Cobourg. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto. A Gathering for Phil's family and friends will be held at the Mill Restaurant (corner of Elgin and Ontario St. in Cobourg - from 401 take exit #474 south, turn right at Elgin St. and follow 1 minute to Ontario St. turning right onto Ontario), on Friday, January 4th 2013 from 2 until 4 p.m. The Clark family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Golden Plough Lodge for their care and compassion during Phil's residency.
