Mary Eleanor Harvie
At the Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital on December 14, 2012, in her 82nd year. Eleanor is survived by Ian, her loving husband of 51 years and her children and grandchildren who were her pride and joy: Caite and Phil Conway and their children Rachel, Rosemary, Haleigh, Miles Conway; David Ian Harvie; Mary Sue and Chris Gauder; Rob Harvie and Mary Munro and their children Charlotte, Audrey and Beatrix; James and Aurea Harvie and their children Kenneth and Ariana. She is predeceased by her parents Mary and Robert, and brother Robert Turnbull QC.
Her family and many friends will miss her enthusiasm, love of life, genuine interest in others and knack for finding a fun connection with everyone she had the pleasure to meet. While she was known for her fun phrases, Ellie also loved a good party and so a memorial service will be held in the new year - and ''Heavens to Betsy'', a celebration of her life it will be! In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity Sleeping Children Around the World (www.scaw.org), or, simply show someone today that you're more interested in them than in yourself.
