EASSON, JANE SIMPSON (nee KEMP)

Jane died peacefully in the company of family at Carlingview Manor, Ottawa in the late evening of December 8th. Predeceased in 1957 by her husband Jim, Jane is survived by their children John, Martha and Jim (Fred) whom she raised to lead productive lives. She is further survived by grandchildren Heather, Michael, Patricia, Victoria and Valerie, and great-grandchildren Jake, Deacon, Harry, Jessica, Emily, Caroline, Vanessa, twins Elodie and Imogen and Katherine. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, former colleagues of the Canadian Bank Note and her neighbours of Mansfield Avenue. To respect Jane's strongest wishes, there will no memorial service or funeral. At some later date, a private gathering of family and friends will be held followed by internment next to her husband in the Military plot of Beechwood cemetery, Ottawa. The family thanks the staff of Carlingview Manor and her physician Dr. Rose for the care they provided to Jane.In recognition of Jane's love of animals, donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appropriate and appreciated.
