FISHER, Irwin Robert (born in Toronto August 30, 1922).
Irv died peacefully at home on December 7, 2012, survived by his wife, Esther Safer Fisher, who was the love of his life for 65 years, and by the large family he treasured. He will be deeply missed by Esther, by his children Spencer Fisher and Marie (Ball), Deborah Fisher and Jack Colman, and by his devoted grandchildren, David Fisher and Elizabeth Maishlish, Jonathan Fisher, Naomi Fisher and Adam Barr, Sarah Colman and Jared Peck, Rebecca Colman and Adam Liederman, and Daniel Colman, and by his 7 wonderful great grandchildren: Jacob, Morris, Max, Dalia, Shana, Anna, and Eve. Irv was always fair, selfless and kind. To the end he maintained a keen sense of humour and gratitude for his full and happy life. Special thanks to caregivers Jocelyn Vinluan and Juvy Salvado and to the exemplary medical team involved in his care.
