RAE, Vivienne Margaret (nee Gibb)
(1928 to 2012)
Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, with her family near on Wednesday 5th of December. Will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Jim. Cherished mother to daughter Lynne Bradshaw and and son-in-law Tom, and son Steven and daughter-in-law Donna Lockyer. Devoted and much loved Nana to Grant and Heather Bradshaw. Vivienne will also be greatly missed by her brother Kenneth and sister-in-law Nancy.
Vivienne was born in Glasgow Scotland and married Jim in Canada in 1954. All her life she had a wicked sense of humour and even when her health failed, the humour still came bubbling up. Her great loves were contract bridge and playing significant roles over a period of three decades in the many curling and tennis shows produced at the Mississauga Golf Club. She was an accomplished poet and concentrated her work on friends and family. She loved curling, golf and tennis.
Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 12th of December at 1:00 PM at Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church, 1338 Clarkson Road, Mississauga, Ontario L5J 2W5. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice. Condolences may be made at www.skinnerandmiddlebrook.com.
