Gail Gingras (née Holland)
Died on November 24, 2012 at the age of 68 in Kincardine, Ontario. Born in Sarnia, Ontario Gail moved with her family to Regina in 1957. Gail loved Saskatchewan where she made many close friends in high school and university, developed a lifelong passion for curling and the 'Roughies', and met her adored husband Roger Gingras. When they moved to Kincardine, Ontario in 1972 they quickly became integral members of that community and dedicated members of the curling club. Tragically Roger died in 1992 after a long fight with leukemia. For almost 20 years thereafter Gail was an invaluable volunteer driver and organizer for the Canadian Cancer Society. Gail is survived by her 3 wonderful children and their families - Rob Gingras, his wife Audrey and 2 children Justin and Brett; Renée Gingras and her partner Dan O'Brien; Lori Morris, her husband Steve and 2 children Austin and Kayla; and by her siblings Mike, Sue, twin brother Geoff, Christine and their families. Gail's capacity to listen to and empathize with others earned her the respect and love of all who knew her. A celebration of her life was held on Saturday, December 1 at the Kincardine Curling Club. She would have loved it. Online condolences and memorial donations may be made through Davey-Linklater Funeral Home at www.daveylinklaterfuneralhome.com - 519-396-2701
