Beloved daughter of Noelle and Tom. Cherished sister of Allan (Kaz) and Niall (Sue) and aunt to Erin, Tom, Andrea, Charlie and Kaori. Dear lifelong friend of Jeanne Mckie and Pam Watson. Ailsa had a sharp wit and a ready laugh. She was stubborn and forthright. She didn't suffer fools, gladly or otherwise. She never gossiped. She loved her friends and family, her cats, her garden, a cryptic crossword and a good book. Six years ago Ailsa was diagnosed with MSA, a rare disease which slowly destroyed her ability to walk, talk and move. But she seldom complained and never lost her sense of humour.
