WHALLEY, Winnifred May (nee Armstrong)
Of Belyea's Cove, NB and Delray Beach, FL, is finally at rest after three years with cancer. She died at the Dorothy Ley Hospice in Toronto on December 2, 2012. Winn was born October 6, 1940 in Saint John, NB to George and Ruth Armstrong. She was married in 1967 and subsequently moved to Toronto, where she lived for 32 years before returning home to NB in 2000. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Stu Whalley, who passed away of cancer in 2006. She is survived by her son Brock (of Toronto), his wife Krista, and her treasured grandson Noah. She is also survived by her two sisters, Gloria Nice (of Saint John, NB) and Margo Armstrong (of Hampton, NB). She will be dearly missed by her extended family and her many wonderful and loving friends. As per Winnifred's wishes, there will be a celebration of her life held in the Toronto area in 2013.
