Joseph Wolfe (Wolfowicz)
Loving husband of the late Toby, devoted father of Helen and Margie Wolfe, and committed brother-in-law and uncle of Rachel, Bilha, Pnina and Yehudi of Israel, died in Toronto, November 21 at the age of 92. The only member of his family to survive the Holocaust, he persevered to build a new life and community in Canada after the war. Until this year, his days were richly fulfilled with study, prayer, gym workouts and happily chauffeuring friends. A learned man of faith, Joseph's kindness and good humour had many of his juniors think of him as their 'favourite old guy'. He is buried in his spiritual home, overlooking his beloved Jerusalem.
