INGOLD, Cairine (née Hodgkin)
1931 - 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Cairine Ingold of Ottawa announces her peaceful passing on Friday, November 30th, 2012. Cairine, a graduate of Carleton University, was elected Queen of Queen's University, and was the beloved Queen and wife of 56 years to Dr. Keith Ingold and daughter of the late Carmen (Neale) and Frank Hodgkin. She is predeceased by son Christopher, and will be greatly missed by son John (Karen) Ingold of Ajax and daughter Diana (Brian) Pratt of Manotick. She was the loving grandmother to Scott, Andrew, Jeffrey, and Laura Ingold, and Michelle and Sean Pratt. A member of the Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club for over 50 years, her death on St. Andrew's Day, ensures she went straight to golf heaven as was her stated wish! A private service will follow. Cairine enjoyed life to its fullest. She travelled extensively with Keith and her children, and enjoyed hosting parties both at home and abroad. Thank you to the staff of Carleton Lodge and Prince of Wales Manor for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthritis Society and Ottawa Mission would be appreciated. www.mcgarryfamily.ca
