COOK, Barbara May (nee Crossley)
Was the adored wife of the late John Richard Cook, loved mother to Michael (Constance), Susan (Ian), and Richard, and treasured Nana to Colin, Faith, Clare, Nolan, Nirah and Jocelyn. She died peacefully in her sleep at Sunridge Place, Duncan, B. C. Barbara was a vibrant soul whose life was filled with music and laughter. Barbara met the love of her life at 16 in London, England and together they began their life adventure emigrating first to Toronto, then moving to Vancouver, then retiring in Cobble Hill on Vancouver Island. Barbara's love of family, friends and faith carried her throughout her life and we rejoice that she is reunited with John, her husband of 53 years, as they begin their next great adventure. Friends are invited to join us at the Anglican Church of St. John the Baptist, Cobble Hill, on December 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.for a service of Remembrance.
