DUPUIS, George Rudolph
May 22, 1927 - November 27, 2012
Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, surrounded by his family at The McCall Centre in Etobicoke at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Margaret for 57 years. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Wendy (Dean) Oldershaw and Margot Waddell and son Richard (Ingrid Veerasammy). Doting grandfather of Dean, Jennifer, Marni and Sarah. George was born in Renfrew, Ontario to Victoria and Elzard. He is survived by his sister Lorraine (Tom) Fox and predeceased by his brother Ken. George graduated from St Pat's College (Carleton) with a BSc. He pursued careers in pharmaceutical sales management, provincial government and the federal government providing his talents as an executive assistant to a cabinet minister, injecting his enthusiasm in various executive roles until retirement. George lived life to its fullest and our memory of him will live on. The family would like to thank the caring professional caregivers of Tyndall and McCall as well as the nurses and doctors at Trillium Hospital. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Kipling and Islington Aves.), on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 3 p.m. Interment at St Francis Xavier Cemetery in Renfrew, Ontario.
